Question Whats up with the A/C?

Why does the A/C cycle on and off in the wrx's? When you need it the most like sitting in traffic it barely comes out cool but once you get moving it gets colder. They need to steal GMs A/C design mine gets cold as an ice box, after all GM is part shareholder in suburu why cant they just borrow their design.

It's the operating range of the compressor. It seems to be most effective above 3K rpm. I rev mine in traffic to keep it cool it's pretty effective.
