Default 225/45/17 toyo t1-s on a 7" wide wheel?

Will this fit? I know toyos are kind of narrow compared to say falkens. Just curious if these can be put on a set of 17x7" wheels. Thanks.

for the street, it is safe to put any 225/45x17 on a 17x7 wheel - tire width does not matter.

any tire will have more dry performance potential if you put it on a wider wheel, since every .5" increase in wheel width gives you a .2" increase in section width. this results in more contact patch width for better dry handling. so 17x7 is fine, 17x7.5 is better, 17x8 even better and 17x8.5 is the best for maxing out the dry performance of a 225/45x17. that said, I don't know of anyone who is running 225/45x17 on 17x8.5 since the 235/40x17 or 245/40x17 makes so much more sense from a performance standpoint with that size wheel.

except for the most agressive canyon carving, it won't make much difference on the street - put the 225/45x17 T1S's on the 17x7 wheels you want and start having fun
