OMGHi2U Question for fellow P Zero M+S owners

First what I have on the car: Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S 205/55 16 (stock rims) at +3 psi over stock (35front/32 rear). Stock psi was used for the first six months then I went up for better handling. The tires have ~11900 miles on them. It started around ~9900 miles, around a month ago. Oh and 03 wrx.

I love the tires but lately they have increased in noise levels. So Iím curious if others have noticed the same. From searching I found a few people that talked about the noise and said it wasnít that bad and only slightly louder than the RE92ís. When I first got them they were only slightly louder than the RE92ís they replaced as others stated. Now about a month ago they have gotten louder. Not much but enough to be more noticeable. I found one person that stated a noise increase after 8K miles. Itís not that bad and I can live with it but Iím mainly curious if others have noticed the same trend. So have others noticed and increase in noise like I have? Any comments?

Rotate tires F=>R and see what that does for noise.

Subtle tire wear problems may not be visible but can cause excessive noise. You can usually feel a wear problem, though--run your bare hand over the tread radially. You'll feel feathering or other issues.

N/P with my PZero M&S, though I have less than 5k on them at this point.

Sorry I forgot to add the tires were just rotated last Sunday. Front to back and kept on the same side.

I'm on my 2nd set of PZero M+S 225/45's on my 17x8's and I never noticed an appreciable gain in road noise after a period of time. .....of course it might also be that I'm less sensitive to the change than others might be.

I have 2 sets of P Zero Neros (WRX & SVT) - about 17,000 miles the ones on my WRX and about 25,000 miles on the ones on my SVT - I found them to be quieter than the OEM tires and I have not noticed any increase in noise over time.

I have 32,000 on set of 225/45X17 on STI. They are nearing replacement time...maybe 3-4,000 more miles. They are louder as they wear...I believe most tires are due to the less tread gaps for air to escape plus one probably has a tire that ages/hardens in time.

Love the tire though...and will go with another set...235's in width though.
