I know it is possible to swap a usdm or jdm wrx and sti motor into a usdm legacy.
My question is, would it be possible to swap a jdm legacy twinturbo(B4?) motor into a usdm LHD legacy? If it is possible, are there any major differences/benefits? Thanks, Denigrad

A search may yield you better results... It gets discussed a lot… The problem is specifically with the LHD as you pointed out. The brake (booster) and steering setup prohibits the twin-turbo motor from even fitting in the engine bay without MAJOR modifications.

Not really major modification, but it is a bit extensive. I'm not sure if you must relocate the brake booster, but the major problem with the TT setup is the LHD steering column being in the way of the downpipe. You will most definitely have to have this, among other parts, custom fabricated. It would be easier, cheaper, and more pracitcal (read: emissions) to do an USDM WRX swap.
