Default Invidia v3 Downpipe

I just got my invidia v3 downpipe, it was on my doorstep when I got home from work. Gonna install it tomarow. First impressions out of the box are very good, this thing is a serious looking piece of, uhmm, uhmm, downpipe. Welds are awesome, the weld from the cast iron bellmouth onto the stainless main pipe is a bit funky/rusty looking, but it looks to have good propogation so I am not too worried about it. It came with new nuts for the turbo studs as well as a new gasket and bolts for the cat back side. Overall I am very impressed, it is way to late now for pics and upload and everything, but it looks beautiful. This and the AP stage 2 flash are gonna be a good thing I think.

Ok, got it installed last night, not to bad, I think on the 05 wrx they added some more brackets because I took off all of the ones I read to take off and there were still like 3 more, oh well. Pipe went back in just fine and bolted up to the stock cat-back. The flange fit the turbo perfect, but here is where I ran into some problems. The top two bolts with nuts were fine to get a socket on, but the other three bolts I could not get a socket on. I had to use an open ended, yes open ended, wrench on them which means I did not get as much torque on it as I would have liked. The one on the engine side was ok as far as getting some torque on it. The one on the bottom of the dp I got enough on from under the car, I think. But the one on the passenger outside of the dp was a real PITA to put anything on. I am going to get some crowsfoot wrenches and hopefully get more on it. There is no room to put a wrench on it and actually turn it with the cruise control in the way. I had to use a short adjustable end wrench to turn it a bit so as to get my open ender on there and put a little torque on it, then adjustable, then open end, etc.... I dont know how much torque to put on the bolts or how much I put on. I had no leaks accept the o2 sensor which I initially forgot to put in, but after I remedied that no leaks so I guess I got it tight enough. My exhaust hits my hitch now, but that will be fixed with some longer hangers. Overall I am very impressed with the downpipe except for the fact that I couldnt get a socket on the nuts. And with the AP, damn this car just pulls so hard. I guess I made a big jump going from stock to stage 2, but damn.

I put an order in for this downpipe as well. I don't know where I heard it, but I heard the separator can actually catch certain exhaust wheels, depending on what turbo. Anybody know if this is compatible with a Blouch TD05 Big 16G? If this is a stupid question, I apologize in advance.

had this downpipe for a while now... getting ready to tune on a sz49 turbo ext wastegated... overall impression, great product. Never had any problem with it. The kit came with the bar plate, gaskets, etc. Welds looked great, I couldn't be more impressed.

No, I forget what size it is but just use an open ended wrench. Thats how I got it off and it was not a problem.

Lambda sensor is 22mm spanner.
I have a wrench which is the same as those used for brakelines (not open, not ring, butt more like a ring/spanner with a small cutout)

Nuts are hardened m10x1mm thread pitch.
