Default Lifting my 95 Legacy L Outback?

Hello all,

What would I need to replace on my car to lift it up? in order to give it more of a new outback height? I plan on doing some offroad driving and think the car is a bit too low for that. What to I have to get? Struts? what kind/brand do you recommend? Is the swap easy?

Thanks much.

IIRC the '95 Subaru Outback was the Debut year for the model and it only came with the Stock Legacy station wagon right height. All I think you will need are the factory "Outback" struts and some spacers (?) Given that so many of our members with Outbacks have DROPPED them, One might think that someone has a used set of factory struts & spacers that they would be willing to sell cheaply.

I am assuming that you would be comfortable with just the stock factory lift.

Also if you are planning to do some off-roading (logging trails ?) getting some skid plates couldnt hurt.

try the scorpion kit sold here....

www.renickmotorsports.com

putting the outback stuff on the car correctly would be just as hard as putting wrx stuff on an Outback. But you can do it.

Check the Outback forum they have a bunch of people who have done this.

Also that scorpion kit is for body raising only, it doesn't effect your minimal clearance unless you put larger tires on.
