Thumbs down theWRXstore.com

Did'nt buy from them because of their customer service. I was quoted a price by Scott for 2 sets af wheels and tires. I asked more than once about shipping because I live in Alaska. He gave me a final price. After we agreed on a price, I filled out the order form. To my suprise, the price went up $400 because they did'nt quote me the right price. Scott said customer satisfaction was a big priority for him, but I guess not that big. Hopefully you have better luck. If you are quoted a price from these guys, be careful, because they may "adjust" it after they get your order.

thanks for the info. last thing i need is price changing by
vendor error especially something so easy to figure out....

price changing due to the exchange rate is acceptable,
but within the same currency, not acceptable.

I'm pretty sure if you had actually talked to them rather than complain here they'd have fixed it.

I just got a set of Hawk HPS pads from them last week. Needed them by the end of the week for the autocross and Nick got them to me in record speed.

Personally I've had nothing but great experiences with them and I've referred several good friends to them who can say the same.

Thumbs up Good review of TheWRXStore

Despite the comment made by a fellow member I have to say that I've had nothing but great dealings with them. I went to buy a set of Gold SDRS from them and changed my mind AFTER Nick had already ordered them. He told me it wasn't a problem, got the Bronze ones I had decided to go with and then had to sit on the gold ones for a while.

This past week I needed break pads ASAP for the upcoming autocross... Ordered them on Monday.. got them on Thursday.. had them on the car with a day to spare.

So.. Thumbs up to Nick and Scott at TheWRXStore.

And just as a heads up, Massimo Performance is our 'Big' company, we formed TheWRXStore for Subaru customers, where as Massimo is mostly for Acura/Honda/other imports.

I'll keep this short and sweet. Everyone is entitled to their positive or negative reviews, and personally I'd like to see more reviews pop up, good or bad. It makes things much easier for those looking for parts to see which vendors they should go with.
Basicly, I messed up 2x with Trevor, on his quotes. I made a typo, and a mental error (I know, vendors aren't human and we can't do errors. I apologize) I then readied myself to subtract 50bucks off each package (Trevor ordered 2 sets of rims) totaling 100dollars off, and this is my own personal money, mind you. He then decided not to go with us because of a misquote, even though we had the rims packed up, ready to ship. I openly apologize again, I made a mistake, but I surely tried to fix that mistake to your benifit. If anyone has a problem with our service, questions, comments, name it, either post up a reply, drop me an email, anything. We're out here to HELP SUBARU ENTHUSIASTS.
Thanks. Sorry guys, I had to explain that.
Drive safely.
Scott

Thumbs up

This vendor should be commended on its customer support / service. Over the past few months I've been talking to Nick weekly regarding part of an order that was backordered (APS uppipe). Nick was always polite, honest, and most importantly available to discuss with me my order. He is very knowledgeable about the various parts on the market, the manufacturer's reputations, and most importantly on the WRX itself. I will most definitely buy from thewrxstore.com again. Thanks Nick.

Thumbs up

I ordered 18" Subzeros and asked if I could get Parada Spec-2's that they don't usually stock. They would have to special order the tires and I was quoted a price (which I was fine with) through PMs w/ Scott. I called to order and Nick actually adjusted the price to the correct lower amount

It wasn't a huge price difference, but it's that kind of business that puts thewrxstore on the top of my vendor list.

It took a few days for them to get the Spec-2s and then a few days to ship to me. Nick was always polite, returned calls and kept me informed of what part of the shipping process my wheels were in.

Man, I've been trying to call the guys at theWRXstore for the past several days with no luck. Do they still exist. I'm feeling like I got ripped off. I ordered wheels last monday and was told they would be shipped by last Thursday. UPS ground would've taken 2 days to get to me. No sign or word of anything yet (phone and email). I hope the explain what's going on.

Wow... You post up at 01:35 AM and expect to get a reply?

Come on guys... Vendors have to sleep to. If it's after 5pm and you get a reply from a vendor consider yourself lucky. 99% of us aren't on call at work 24/7 so don't expect vendors to be either...

If you posted the review AFTER you sent the mail... chances are you didn't email Scott and were trying to get ahold of Nick who isn't around...

I'm pretty sure I did emailed them both

It is now 9:39AM PST, still no reply to my emails from anyone of them. How are you going to explain that crazyhorse? Or better yet, what type of excuse do 'you think' can they come up with?

Removed my other posts~ This is rediculous.
If you have a problem, PM or email, or call. This is a vendor review forum, not a shouting match.
Thank you

I give them thumps up for service before and after the order. Ordered a TT and harness, checked to make sure they had the color I wanted in stock and they didn't make me feel like I was putting them out to do so. Package got here on time and it works like a charm.

Scott and Nick took back my CRAPPY APS uppipe and exchanged it for some Eibach springs. They were fine to work with and are honest individuals.

You CAN'T please everyone..
