Need to change the oil on the 1994 Legacy Sport Sedan. Also, it's got 150k on her, any oil suggestions for high mileage, turbo Subarus? (I think I am gonna get some Redline just to test it out before I put it in the STi)

It's the same filter as on pretty much every other newer subaru. The only exception is the smaller filter for the 02 WRX & similar turbo engines. It's been discussed/questioned whether the smaller filter should be used on the older turbo legacies, and the consensus was to use the older/wider filter.
I don't know the part #, but I'm sure it's floating around somewhere on the board. |

Just go to your local parts store and get the Purolator that is listed for the SS. The OEM one from Subaru is a Purolator too. That's what I run and it cost about $2-3 cheaper then OEM to boot.

I don't think they are the same though. I'll look into it.

They are the same filter. If you buy a subaru OEM filter, it says puralator on it.

I am pretty sure all the four cylinder motors use the same oil filter. Part # 15208AA100. Double check though.

the AA100 is for the newer turbo motors. The filter you want is the AA060.
