Default Where to find a downpipe flange

Hi All,

I need the turbo flanges for an Up and Down pipe for my XT turbo. Anyone know where I can get these flanges? I'm very not impressed with the up and downpipe I'm currently so I'm haveing some more made, all I need is some flanges.

Thanks
Chad

If it is an RHB52 (like on the Legacy) you can get a real nice one out of 3/8 in steel from Outback Motorsports - 714-994-5222

John is on vacation this week, but call next week, or Steve is "outback motorsports" on the board.

OK, i'm just confused as to what's going on with that last post...

Anyone else know where I can get turbo exhaust flanges? I know ISR has them, but I ordered an oil line from them a few weeks ago and have yet to hear anything about it. The emails are also unanswered so I'd rather have a more reliable vendor.

I don't know if iSR has the turbo exhaust flanges - they have the up-pipe flanges.

They are backed up on their oil lines, but when I talked to Pam she said they were going out this week.

Seriously, talk to Outback Monday.

I have the outback flange and it is a pretty piece. It's 3/8" lasercut steel with two exit holes. A large hole for the turbine exit and a smaller one for the wastegate. This piece will force you to do a dual exit downpipe so the costs and difficulty is higher. A divider will also need to be welded in on the inside of the flange to seperate the wastegate from the main turbine exit.

I can take a picture of the piece if somebody wants to see it.

try your local turbo rebuilder/repair shops they should have or know where to get ahold of flanges.

your turbo should be an IHI RHB5

Stimpy,

Where did you get the flange? How much do you want for it? Can you get more? I'm considering having 5 up and downpipes made. 1 for myself and 4 for whoever is interested in a custom turbo kit using an older Subie turbo.

Outback has them laser cut - you can get them like Stimpy got with the twin holes for exhaust and wastegate or single outlet (like stock).

I think they are like $25. If you want to buy them, John Rykowski at Outback, phone number listed above, will be glad to sell them to you.

Mine has about a 1" hole (maybe bigger) right below the '8'. My cost was $20. I didn't know they made 'em without the other hole. Call Outback and see what they say.

Since I'm buying an external wastegate, the single hole might actually be better. Easier to weld up anyway and cheaper to produce.

I'll call over there, thanks all.

now if I could only find that #)(%*)@ fuel pump fuse.

Edit: What about the flange for the up pipe?
