Default IS there a wheel stronger/lighter than stock bbs?
Looking to have a seperate set of track-day wheels/tires. Are their any wheels that are: actually stronger and lighter than the stock BBS, 17x8 (5x114.3,) and will clear the STi brembos. Basically, better than stock replacement wheels.

I've heared the the Advan, is it RGII?, is very strong/light. How does it compare to the BBS?

2 of my BBSs have slight bends. One I got fixed a bit. Couldn't make it completely perfect again. The other's bend wasn't bad enough to worry with fixing. Both of my $700-ish a set Rotas have none.

Oh and the Rota SDRs are only .5 lbs heavier each. The Slipstreams are a bit heavier, but they are a bit wider too.

Just one guys experience.

Seen visibly. That's a good one. Yes, but you have to "look."

No. I never knew until I pulled them to change wheels. I was planning on using my Rotas as rough winter tires with healthy treads, and the BBSs as summers with high performance tires. Changed my plan after the bends. But no, they aren't bad enough to feel. Either on the front or the back.
