Default Anyone on VW Vortex?

I have an older car I need to sell, but a "known" member will get more attention than a new guy selling a car. Anybody able to help a guy out?

What are you tryin to sell?
I'm on Vortex alot, since my other car is a Corrado.

But don't let the low post count get to you. People will say they want your parts and back out regardless of how long you been on.

I only have about 10 posts as well. Screwfly, I used to have a Corrado VR6. I still have a VR6 TB, G60 cam gear, other parts. PM me if you need random parts.

I am trying to sell a 79 Beetle Convertible. It is Porsche Guard red, but needs fresh paint. (Also a passenger side pan) It has the carera wale tail (Big and flat, not small and pointed up) and a 2210 built by Jeff's Bug Shop, running Gene Burg modified Webber DCNF carbs. (And they need a rebuild) The top is new, however, and does not have a cut out for the back window. A very cool car, and $8000 race motor, but I am fire sailing it because I need the money for other projects. I have had the car since I was 14. (New)

Now you see why I want someone with more of a history than "joined today to sell a car." Willing to give that person a cut if they sell it. (small cut, I need the cash)

Wow that sounds like a really cool Beetle. Would you upload a pic just for kicks? I'd love to see it. What kind of power does that engine make in fighting condition?

Never had it on a dyno. But I broke 12 once. Since I didn't want a roll cage, I never got a chance to do it again. And here she is now... No good pics at an autocross with the inside front tire 3 inches in the air.
