Default HRE Competition Series Wheels

Anyone have them, best place to get them??? I'm checking into pricing on the C-20's in an 18x8.5 size. I thought Volk wheels were expensive but I'm looking at well over $3500.00 for a set of these.

Might want to search about HRE's. I don't have any first-hand experience but I've heard interesting things about their durability.

there has been a few incidences (sp?) of bad duribility, but those were on a certain Dodge Viper, in a certain competitive event. i heard the HRE's were curb slammed at almost 170mph.

the Raceline series (model ends in R, ie: 446R) are the lighter ones, and are designed for semi-competitive use. the other ones are meant for daily-driving, shows, ect. like almost EVERY OTHER WHEEL, they wont hold up on a ****ty track going 200mph.

if you want competitive duribility, look at some BBS LM's or something of the sort.

HREs are great wheels, but dont expect the world out of them.

Umm, I woudn't say this is true. It truly depends on the application.

If he's going racing, HRE and BBS LM are not answers to the problem.

Fiske, CCW, BBS Modular... they are all nice wheels for that application... Im sure there are more

For looks... then Kinesis, J-Line, BBS LM, HRE... those work

Kinesis will probably work for Racing too, but there were some issues with breakage in some cars although Im sure its a rarity more than commonplace. So Kinesis can go in the race list too.
