I use Castrol Synthetic. It is 5w50. They have a winter formulation as well, but I don't think it gets brutal enough out here in the lower mainland of British Columbia to use it.

The only lubricants I use for my car are Motul.

For winter I use E-tech 8100 0w40

For summer I use 300V 5w40

You must remember, winter temps dip down to -50C with wind chill factor, and when it gets hot, it's up to 33-37C

I wasn't aware that windchill affected oil temps in the least.

10w30 Castrol Syntec, year round.
