Hey,
Please let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested in my dad's cherry 1994 Mazda RX-7 Twin Turbo. Low miles, super clean and super fast! Link: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...6#post10840546 Thanks, Jacob jacobjhorn@hotmail.com

Jacob,
You don't know how much I wish I could buy that car. I still miss my '93 FD to this day. I probably have almost every die cast RX-7, model, car, book made. Aarrggh. I can only hope, that I can find a cherry RX-7 like this a few years from now. I keep an eye out for these things and it seems there are quite a few RX-7 garage queens, that are let go every once in awhile. -sigh |

Yes, I wish it could stay in the family (read: be given to me) but I don't think I'd want to know how much insurance would cost for me on that car.
It's definitely a cool car that will always have a strong core following. |

I've always wanted one too. But it's not really a family-friendly car. i think that's why most of us drive the subaru legacy instead...

Yes, I'd like to own one someday too. I'd have to part with a few of the Subes, which will probably not happen before this is snapped up.
Bump for a great car. Dale |

Besides just the car type, the insurance companies look at accidents associated with a car. Despite the few that are off the road for mechanical issues (chuckle) a lot of the RX-7's probably aren't used as daily drivers, so aren't in as many accidents. When I was shopping for a car, I was looking at a 92 Prelude SI and the RX-7. The insurance costs where the same. So I said, what the hell, I'll go with the RX-7. I really wanted a WRX STI, but checking rates, I'm able to insure my Legacy and a RX-7 for a price of one STI. Also, A 2005 Mustang GT is more expensive for me to insure, than a E46 BMW M3, even though the beemer costs considerably more. Just something to consider. I'd talk your dad into holding it for you. Of course when I was a kid, I tried to talk my dad into holding onto our Pontiac Firechicken with the shaker hood, and that didn't get me anywhere. ![]() |

That HAS to be one of the best looking cars EVER. I fell in love with that body style the first time I saw it. |
