Posts were removed due to lots of 3rd party accounts on a situation at a vendor. Please keep the vendor reviews factual and if you aren't the vendor or the customer, there is no need for you to comment. Thanks.

Default swift springs on my 08

my 08 suspension not so soft any longer.
AZP installed swift springs yesterday. they do a great job! Thanks AZP! nice drop but not over doing it. no more body sway. much stiffer then stock but still road friendly. already have upgraded front and rear sways. 22mm front and 18mm rear. ordered rally armor mud flaps today.

Took my WRX wagon to these guys today to install my splitters and V-lip. It's about an hour drive north of my house, but was well worth the trip! They are top notch, and obviously have a little bit more than "just some" experience working on Subies! Everything turned out perfect, and the "bonus" blacked out painting of my ginormous shiny exhaust gave me a big grin! It's nice and stealth looking now.

If you ever need ANY bodywork, paint, or don't have the tools nor time installing aftermarket body parts, take your Subie to these pros. You won't be disappointed! Great price and great work!

Special props to Billy and Phil! Really good guys. And of course, Dan, the man! Hope to meet you in person next time!

Talking Broken Motorsports

The story:

For about 3 years ive needed new suspension. I bought a set of Konis Yellows, took stock struts from Chandy, purchased Group N tophats and RCE Yellow springs and stared at them in my garage for about 2 years... . Finally with the warmer weather coming around and some cash i decided to put these bad boys together! Needless to say it was a PITA! I got blisters from cutting the struts and for some reason it didnt fit together! couldnt figure it out for the life of me (or my friend "mechanic" helping me) at one point he told me nothing will fit..... I called Broken Motorsports and Billy and Vince were nice enough to tell me i was missing a few pieces to put on the strut (spring seat, rubber surround and dust covers...) after much frustration with seating and the spring compressor , i sucked it up and decided to have professionals do it.

Went to Broken Motorsports essentially broken in spirit thinkin that my purchases were epic fails.

They smiled and in 10 minutes had fixed all my mess ups and supplied the parts from their extensive inventory to put it all together! They know their **** inside and out and back inside again...
These guys are dedicated! even though i had gotten there late and the shop was closing they threw my car on the lift swapped the suspension and entertained me while doin it . They also will spend day and night until they find all the gremlins in your car and promptly murder them. gaurenteed!

Love these guys, very professional and know just as much about subarus as God.

Highly recommend them and def 10 thumbs up!

Just got my clutch and tune done at EFI Logics. I am very happy with the work and service. I personally think these guys are the best around. My Sti is a whole new car after the tune, its a night and day difference. Any other work I get done will be at EFI logics.

Thanks to all at EFI

Bump for Metric Subaru for keeping as stocked items things that others would have to order. The next closest dealer with the parts I needed today was in MD.

And thanks of course to Patrick at Morristown, Mike at AZP, and Spencer for their roles in resolving today's nightmare.

Patrick, Parts guy @ Subaru of Morristown gets a 100% in my book. Excellent pricing, help, advice, and delivery of parts whenever my car needs something replaced. I do most of the work myself, but he is my #1-stop for anything sold by Subaru.

Subaru of Morristown parts department has always been tops in my book for dealership parts supply, even before Patrick was there. Known Pat a long time, even before he was there, he just makes SoM parts even better.

we bought our 06 legacy from MO-town and they were great to deal with. couldnt be happier !!!

Mt Olive subaru on the other hand sucks big monkey balls. Service guy is an ass and knows nothing and tried to charge us $40 for an oil change which is covered in our plan and I caught him in his lie.

And then the sales peoples wouldnt drop there price down 1k for a leftover tribeca during the gas hike after we told them we could save 3k going to Mile One in Maryland. did they care ? NOPE... it was great satisfaction to tell them we got THE SAME car in MD for 3 k less.... worth the 3 hour drive !!!!

Default Happy to find AKUMA

This is a post from a good friend and his"lil Evo"

Finally a good experience.
I was told about a new shop called AKUMA in Old Bridge by a friend with the same love for cars.
I have to say my experience was nothing short of excellent from Lauren at the front desk to John who tuned my matchbox EVO.
I was never up-sold (which i respect), what i asked for is what i paid for and not a penny more ( and i have to say, i did not have a boost controller and i was able to borrow one from one of the shop techs with the promise of a return.....who would have thought it?)
The atmosphere is one of comfort and trust and it all started from the obvious great relationship between the people that work there, they seem to enjoy what they do and the people they work with.
John who tuned my little EVO took the time to see what i had already mapped in my car, not just put in what he thought, he obviously knows his stuff and it shows, i drove out of this lot with a new car, one that is smoother, more aggressive but one that is safe even after he gave me the choice of normal or aggressive ( ill let you guess what i chose), he was more concerned about vehicle and personal safety than numbers......John i appreciate your honesty and that is something not easily found nowadays.
I highly recommend this shop to anybody that wants an honest quality shop, i will without a doubt return so i can get my matchbox EVO to where i need it to be.
Guys growth is coming, just don't change your business practice.

Thanks Dave! I'm glad your "friend" was happy. We all share the same passion and drive at Akuma and believe me we don't plan on letting up any time soon!

Went to Little Bear Alignment in Buchanon recently. My review is mixed. I had them mount and balance my summer tires and do a custom alignment on my STi. They were recommended sporadically in othe threads.

Equipment quality is great and I am pleased with the service performed for the most part. I was a little annoyed because they spent a solid 2 plus hours slowly working on the tire mounting even though they knew I was standing there waiting for the car. Overall they worked at a very slow pace. The whole job took close to 4 hours, which is just too much when the customer is waiting and the service is pretty simple. They were also a little careless with the wheel center caps and one is now missing. On the plus side, the alignment tech agreed to dismount one of my rear wheels and loosen the strut in order to eek out a camber spec closer to my request. This was done without additional charge. I'd consider going back but my feelings are mixed due to the needlessly slow pace and carelessness with the center cap.

Great service from AZP.

The crew had a full plate last night with other customers and still managed to knock out a high quality job installing new struts, springs and a full Brembo conversion kit on my 04 wagon. Great prices as well.

Two thumbs way up.

I was at AZP on Monday while 280hpwrx was there (nice car by the way lots of pink sutff). I brought in my wife's car so they could work on their first Tribeca. They replaced the front sway bar bushings, performed an oil change, and quickly diagnosed / fixed a noise in the left front.

Great communication / customer support, technical knowledge, and price I have found that people who enjoy what they do usually do it well AZP is no exception. I will be back shortly for 60ks on the Forester and Tribeca.

Thanks again!

I had DarkStar Motorsports install a P&L Turbo/AVCS oil line kit for me this past week, and I would definitely recommend them to others. Competent work done with lots of pride for getting the job done right. I was equally impressed with how clean the shop is kept. And their price was beyond reasonable.
