Default car not going into Test mode with AP

I'm trying to update the new maps onto my car. map manager is downloaded and installed on my computer, new version 1.30 maps both real time and base time maps are loaded. I located and pluged in the whiteish connectors for my 03 wrx. Next i turned the key onto to ON position and the engine light is lite but not blinking. So i refered to cobb's directions and located the green plug in the right corner of the passenger side foot well. It is CONNECTED.

what do i do now??

if anyone is welling to help me out over the phone it would be amazing. 302-236-9571

name is Howe

thx!
