Default GT30R vs GT30R vs GT30R ?????

Okay, everyone makes/sells a GT30R these days. What's the difference from one to another? What makes a GT30R a GT30R? I'm seeing prices from $1200 to $2600. I don't get it.

The link you posted I believe is $2600 for turbo and setup kit (all the piping and fittings to connect it) which is inline with pricing for rotated GT bolt on kits everywhere else unless I am mistaken.

The link:

Stage 4 (Perrin GT30R)
EcuTek Reflash .....................$799.99
Perrin 3" Turboback Exhaust......$1,039.98
Perrin BigMAF Intake ...............$219.99
Perrin 816cc Injectors..............$639.99
Perrin Front Mount Intercooler...$1,199.99
Perrin Fuel Rails......................$399.99
Walbro GSS342 Fuel Pump........$119.99
TURBO..................................$2,595.00
Totals $7,014.92

Kingpin als has a kit for $3750, but less complete, and by the time you add everything the PDX kit has, you are at practically the same price. This all would include uppipe and and wastegate.

Maybe that $2600 for the PDX includes wastegate and uppipe, but it's not listed that way.

Even so, is a WG and uppipe adding up to $1400?

if you call them it will be the price for the turbo set up, you would need a custom uppipe and external wastegate and a custom downpipe which is not listed there, unless that turbo is the non rotated turbo which it might be then that is the price just for the turbo

Both Kingpin and PDX have rotated setups. A turboback is everything that connected between the turbo and the muffler hangers, so a downpipe is included with the PDX kit. A downpipe is also included with the Kingpin kit.

I think your caught up in the verbage on the website, why not email or call them to clarify as what seems to most of us to be clearly obvious is elluding you.

To me it's obvious that your getting a rotated turbo and setup kit which can include a little more than uppipe, wastegate and fittings.

The $2595 price listed on the PDX site is for the Perrin GT30R rotated setup. It includes the uppipe, downpipe, wastegate, all other hardware to install the turbo. What is not mentioned on the website is that this does not include the intake / inlet pipe which will be about $300 dollars on top of that. Also the Perrin kit is not quite yet ready to out to the public. I spoke with Jeff the other day about the GT30R kit and he said that PDX was the company that was testing the kit for them and that the prices listed were close, but that they aren't in production yet. I was deciding between the GT30R and the FP Red. After talking with Jeff, I'm going with the Red!

The kingpin Kit uses a Real GT30R turbo from Garrett. That includes the 3 inch Conical discharge Turbine housing and Ported shroud compressor housing. DO YOUR reasearch before you buy. Or you might be buying a T3T4 setup that uses the 2.5 inch old T3 turbine housing.
