I need to get back on my bike. It's been almost two years since I've ridden with any regularity and it shows. So if anyone out there is willing to help me get back up to speed, email me. I'm in Golden, way up near Blackhawk, but I'll drive just about anywhere to ride.

Thanks, Mark

I'll ride Walker Ranch on the weekends if anyone wants to go. If you haven't ridden it it's a pretty fun ride.

In Boulder there's the reservoir loop or an insane road climb up Lee Hill Road. Hall Ranch is a bit far for a lunchtime ride, though a shed-load of fun.

Walker will work too, its right down the road from me.

I'm not picky, I just need to ride. Plus I'm not working, so I can ride almost anytime. Just remember, go easy on me, I'm outta shape!

Mark -

I could do road or mtn. Also, I could do evening rides, but we are starting to run out of light.

I was just at Walker Ranch yesterday! White Ranch Park is also a must ride- very fun. And Winter Park, and...

Still, I am pretty out of shape, and I spend most of the week at sea level, so I am really not very fast... But I always try to get in a couple of good rides on the weekends.

Yeah, me too. I bailed pretty hard on friday. Geez, I'm getting too old for this. That's why I got a road bike. No, I'm not shaving my legs.

Gentlemen,
Shall we plan on a ride next Sat? Can't ride Sunday, I have an autox at Coors. Of course, I can ride during the week too. Home phone is 303 582 3298.

I'm in the same boat you are. I have not been on the bike more than twice this year. I love to ride the Mathew Winters/Dakota Ridge loop and White Ranch is always a hoot. Mt. Falcon is fun once you get to the top.

If you guys are starting slow and willing to wait for a fat guy (but pretty technical rider), I am definately in.

Let me know when you guys are going. I live at C-470 and Bowles, so I can make it anywhere pretty quick.

Sorry, I have to work Saturday. I'll definitely ride the following weekend though. If you guys want to meet at Walker that Saturday or Sunday in the morning count me in. I've also been off the bike for a couple of years but I'm slowly coming back. Road rides are also good for me.

So, Walker this Saturday for those who can make it? What time, and which trailhead? (If there's more than one)

Cool

Sorry, guys. I won't be able to make weekend rides. I still live in the Springs. Rats. Oh, well. I'll be thinking of you in about 15 minutes when I do my kamikaze run of Palmer Park. Cheers.

Walker sounds good- something like 9:00ish?. How about the trailhead by Flagstaff Rd (not the one off Gross Dam Rd)? It is a little closer, unless a lot of people are coming from the other direction.

Slow, fat, subaru driving mountain bikers, unite!

I'll be there 9-ish. Look for a blue suburban with black wheels and a Moab sticker on the tailgate.

Anybody else care to join Ketih RS and me for a mountain bike ride at Walker Ranch tomorrow (Sat) at 9am? Meet at the trailhead off of Flagstaff Road.

See you there, Mark
