Default a hypothetical "quicky washing" of my car

Let's say hypothetically I sprayed my car down with a hose to get hypothetical bird poop n piss (do birds piss?) off. Let's say, it is around 10:00 PM and I go for a hypothetical drive on the highway to dry off my car. Would this hypothetical situation leave water marks on my car?? Air temp is hypothetically 83 degrees.

I have found that no matter what I use to wash my car, if I do not chamois it dry I will have waterspots.

This is going WAY back to a Comparative Anatomy course in college, but if I recall, birds do not piss much at all. They are built to run on the dry side (water is heavy to fly around with). The nitrated compounds (that go through the kidneys and form the urine of most mammals) get removed from the circulation by the liver and dumped back into a circulation system back to the gut where it is crapped out.

No matter how fast you drive to blow off the wateryou will still have water spots (albiet smaller ones). Cause of all the little hiding spots for water (under headlights, under turn signals, etc) I take mine out for a quick sprint down the road and back and then dry it off lightly. I do a 'quicky' wash and dry in about 30-40 mins. Good coatings of wax help alot!!

is the water pretty hard where you guys live? I've never noticed much water spotting on my car after a wash, or even with my old black Forester.
