What's the life of my STI OEM tires (in miles)?
Currently have 13,000 miles and tires seem to still be holding up pretty good...

Depends on too many factors. Where I live there is so much fine dust on the road nothing wears, there is just no friction. ( I can walk and feel it )
My Hoosiers were dry and hard from heat cycles before being worn.

It's possible to get 20K out of them, but also possible to get 5K, no one can tell you.

I got a used set with about 4K on them. I put an additional 10K, and that included a few canyon runs and 2 auto-x's.

Because I'm such a lazy ass, when it come to getting tyres replaced, I'm still running the original 070s at 24k and they've just reached the wear bars.

If you thought they were noisy new..they howl twice as bad now..

p.s. got a second set of used(500 mile) 070s to replace 'em. When I get around to it.

I had >25k on mine before a nail destroyed one. I was planning to run on them until the winter tires go on (late Oct/early Nov), I don't think that would have been any issue...

Note: I have the RS for my "beat 'em up" car, so I rarely pushed the STi to the limits. ...for the time being...

that's only because you've never tried 225/45x17 tires on a 19" rim: nirvana...
