Sorry I missed the GB, I just ordered my rainguards elsewhere. Anyone thinking about these, they are really cool. Very subtle, not like the typical Ventshade ones we see at Pep Boys and Autozone.

The wire that you see there in the picture is actually hidden after installation. It is wired and grounded into the door.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was looking for with the question. So is this a PITA install that requires removing panels, or just a slap it on and you're done? Is there an instruction sheet that you can describe or link to?

About as easy as it get's:

1. Stick static pad to door
2. Run attached wire down window sill to inside of door (wire stays included to keep everything neat)
3. On the inside of the door you will see three screws, stick the included plate to one of the screws and ground the wire by wrapping it to the plate.
4. Stick the plate cover on and your done!

The set includes instructions and we will be doing a detailed step by step soon as well.

It's probably the same site I bought mine from where I paid $125 for the guards but $85 dollars to ship! ST's price looks pretty good to me!

Pardon my ignorance regarding the anti-static pad, but do you just touch the pad before you get out of the car and set foot on the ground for it to work? What's the protocol in making a successful exit from the car without getting shocked?
