Default How did you run your SIRIUS/XM satelite antenna wire?

Anyone have pics of clever ways to install it? Im kind if unsure how to discretely run the wire from the outside of the car to the inside.
Thank you.

Just put it back behind the rear seats where your brake light is. It will work fine.

i just put mine up on the dash on the passenger side with a small piece of double sided tape. it works fine and it is not easy to notice, plus no need to worry about routing it all the way outside.

if you mount it inside the car you need to have a ground contact, meaning you need to have a piece of metal that the ant. sits on. or else you will not get that good of reception, if it is on the outside then you can mount it on the trunk or on the front right on top of the front windshield.

I mounted mine on the rear glass using 3M double sided automotive tape. It fits just between bottom of glass and 3rd brake lamp with minimal coverage of brake lamp. Then run the antenna wire under the bottom of rear seat and under interior rocker trim up under dash. The trim pieces and seat bottom are sooooo easy to take apart it won't take you very long to do it the right way so you won't have 10 ft. of antenna wire laying around the cockpit. DON'T mount it on your roof or trunk with the magnet unless you don't care about scratches in your paint!

don't be a wuss, just mount it 8" or so forward of the rear glass, on the roof (or whatever's most visually appealing). run the cord straight back to the weather stripping and tuck it in there. go toward the passenger side, run it down the weatherstripping, and at the trunk. pop your trunk, pull up the weather stripping there, file a divit into the metal so you don't pinch your cord, and put the weather stripping back over it. now run the cable forward through the space under the rear passenger seatbelt spool, under the carpet and trim, across the floor in the front where the ecu is, and up into the radio.

do it once. do it right. getting lazy this time around will have you pissed off and doing it my way ANYWAY, just at a later date.
