Search man. Many many many threads about the limits of the EJ25.

When it comes to boost, not much. I've heard of running about 6-8 psi without going into boost all the time, and the engine will hold up. Go over that and you're putting your engine in risk. The block is simply not made to handle a turbocharged application (without MUCH money dumped into it). That is why subaru has the WRX and STI platforms. Simple as that.

its 6-8psi with supporting mods... its not worth the money as you wont get that much hp gain from it... just do a swap instead

I have a 2.5rs and when I had a turbo kit on the stock motor at 9psi I was walking all over most wrx's I raced, sorry guys but true. Then I walked all over a 99 rs with an ej20 with up and down pipes, intake, pulleys, utec or whatever it is, and 17psi by about 2.5 cars lengths, just a thought. But yeah do a search, you'll find a lot.

With a turbo you'll get crazy amounts of torque and less lag. But it doesn't run as smooth and you'll blow your 2nd gear if you don't treat it nice.

cheers
