Default Second Gen Electrical question

I've got one of those keyless 'clicker' things on my '99 GT Limited.

Mine isnt a factory setup but a Dealer installed third party setup that lets me control everything via telephone (thats sort of cool). I can arm/disarm/ lock/unlock/ locate/ remote start... all done by telephone if I manage to lock my clicker in the car...

Unfortunately the parking lights are no longer comming on when I disarm the system... no biggie, its been like this for over a year. Every once in a while the parking lights flicker faintly like they WANT to come on. This is only a minor inconveniance. I figure its either a bad ground or some other hard to trace intermittant connection.

Does anyone have information to where these remotes are wired ? I figure being dealer installed they probably used mostly factory connection locations.
Any information would be most helpfull.

Thanks !

i would think it is a bad relay that can be replaced once you find it...

Try doing a search for the part number found on or in the remote. I was able to find the reset codes for the OEM remote this way.

Even after reseting both of my remotes, they still will only unlock my doors. For some reason the remote will no longer lock the doors (My lights do flash however). Before that, the dome light stopped coming on when I would attempt to unlock the doors with the remote.

Also, my back up lights no longer come on (Probably due to the install of the short shifter), and my Cruise control no longer works.

Bugs or maybe it's just getting old. Dunno

Pretty sure the factory stuff is under the steering column, kind of on the left side. Not sure if that helps, but if you look under there you might be able to figure something out...
