You can always get new yellow STI injectors. I think they are 555 cc.

Not the stock turbo rail.

They fit perfect into the '90-'94 n/a rail.

The STi injectors are the same shape as the early n/a injectors, but different from the turbo injectors.

ok so i would have to get an N/A fuel rail if i wanted to change to yellow tops.

Just one other thing...do you know how much hp those stock injectors are good for.

Hmmm...

Depends. I think that they aren't good for too much over stock boost.

One of the guys on legacycentral is pushing the limits with 16PSI on the stock injectors and a Walbro fuel pump. I believe he is only running a bit over 200 WHP.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.....

That sounds about right. I think Phil basically maxed out what can be done with stock fuel system and stock engine management:
214whp@5250RPM, 251lb-ft@3200RPM

The sti yellow injectors only fit in the 92-94 n/a rails, and NOT the 90-91 n/a rails.

Are you on the stock turbo?

Your car should already be running 9ish psi stock... automatically... as it was configured from the factory. Mine did. So yes, the fuel system can handle 10psi.

It'd be a good idea to upgrade to the walbro 255l pump.

Easy install.

Just remove the carpet from the trunk to access the maintenance plates. Unscrew the passenger side one to expose the top of the fuel tank. Remove several 8mm (i think) bolts (carefully and with lots of PB blaster) and unplug an electrical connector. Then just pull the whole shebang out and strap on the new pump.

Installation is reverse of removal.

It took me about an hour or so.......

It really isn't that hard. You just have to know where everything is and how to remove it.
