Default Where to get Digital EGT probe & gauge

Hello, I am looking for an acurate EGT gauge (numerical display). After looking around I found http://www.dakotadigital.com/.

How much difference are there in EGT probes? Esentially, should I go with what the site offers, or get one from else where?

My 2nd choice is to hook up Fluke with temp probe while I am tuning the car.

Good, found a link to manual EGT probe (similar kit available for Fluke) http://www.percyshp.com/producthomedeti.html

I run dakota digital gauges in the RS. Their senders are pretty common stuff (all my senders were VDO). Probably the best damn gauges I've come across.

+1 for dakota.

their digital gauges are OK as well... more suited for track cars though. Hard to read under certain conditions.

Well, if you don't have a wideband, consider getting the Zeitronix ZT2 which can display EGT digitally with the optional EGT sensor

If I had the time & extra scrip, I'd definitely go with this:

(scroll down to the TC-1)

I think SMC(?) has a 4 channel, too.
