I think they are refering to two pairs. A set includes 2 horns. two set increase the db level.

Ok...that's fine, but first of all this listing is in the group buy forum and I don't see a discount being offered for multiple people participating in the purchase and second it just seems like a stupid offer, because I don't understand why the majority of people interested in these horns would by more than one set....that's just me. Actually, I have been shopping around for these for several months and was considering buying these, and there is absolutely no way you could prove otherwise. If you look back to my first reply it even says that I would consider buying if there was a deal for one set. In addition a good vendor would try to work something out with the customer to make the sale...not respond with a smart ass comment.

I drive with one horn. It is already loud enough with one. Even though I'm not honking at the person directly in front of me they seem to take it that way and drive like a-holes. So unless you're wiring for special occassions you may come across aholes unknowningly. I replaced my OE and will put those back in if I can find them but I'm definitely going ot remove the unused one to another car. a set of 2 should be good for 4 cars, IMO. And I am a type of person who likes to honk and because these are loud I am inclined to sometimes.
