Default Where to tap off for oil pressure gauge

I am putting an oil pressure gauge in my car tomorrow and I was just curious to see where you guys have gotten your oil pressure reading from. i'm going to buy an autometer gauge, i'm just not sure of where a good place to tap off is. I'm sure I could figure it out, but i'm also sure some of you have done it and it would be easier to take some advice from people who have done it already.
Thanks.

Best thing to do is just slap a T-fitting onto the stock oil pressure sender under the alternator, and plug the sender into one side and your oil gauge off the other.
