Don't get me started on the whole weak 2.0L comment........

I think the USDM gear is too short as it is, no need to be any shorter, beside, we are talking about looks here.....

My vote....

ditch the wheels and get a classic widebody kit.

That'll score you a few extra points at the next show.

People with the same mod as my STi run as low as 12.8 @ 108 mph. I don't know what you call that, some people call 11 seconds as slow and some people are scare being in a 14 seconds car, you know what I mean? How do you define "fast"?

Personally I don't call cars slower then 12.00 as fast. So yes, I don't consider my STi as fast.

Haha, I just remember meeting you at SEMA a while back and you telling me your car was slow. It is slow for an STi, just fast for a car.

So your all for being jdm as long as it's looks...doesn't sound hypocritical or contradictory at all. Sounds like you are simply defining 'jdm' and your car as you see fit. Nice.

What makes me angry in all this is 'versus' expressed his opinion and not only did you arrogantly disagree with it and start a whole thread about it, but failed to even acknowledge why he held that opinion.

IMO you need to quit whoring and go spend some more money on overpriced oil coolers.

I've said my piece and i'm sorry if i've offended you, but you come off as quite argumentative and arrogant. Have a nice day.

Louis (hoping one day he'll be as 'jdm' as JDM Addict)

then i proceeded to read it despite how big a waste of time I know its going to be.

I'm the same way, and as far as Addict's car goes... yes there are a lot of unique jdm parts, but as someone said theres nothing that really brings the whole car together to represent "JDM" tuning. Ok, expensive japanese wheels, zerosports wing (which means basically nothing to most people), a front lip (which does nothing for this car IMO), and a few other bits that anyone even remotely out of the "loop" wouldn't recognize.

Don't get me wrong, its not bad at all, but there are a lot of other cars above this one on my list, even on my "JDM" list. You need something that is unique... you don't have to be the only one to have it, just not something that everybody and their brother has, such some rare sideskirts/bumpers... I don't know exactly - its not my car, but you did ask....
