Exclamation I have a supercharger but i want more boost without using a turbo

i got a hold this great kit, eaton supercharger. I had it heavily modified to fit my 2.5 rs and to have it working the way i want. Problem is though i am extremely greedy and i want more boost. I have already changed my puley and was creating alittle over 15 psi but the pulley repedeatley ripped my belts and double the temeperature of my unit. What i would like to know is if i play with my bov valve or my waste gate and change the spring rate so that is doenst open at 7-8 psi but rather at 12 psi, could it actually work?

Sounds like your putting to much strain on the belt. Your probably going to need something like a new crank pulley with a section that has more ribs (8 rib?) and use a belt of that size. Either that or it didn't line up properly. More boost from an Eaton is going to mean alot more heat though.

i got this kit by sheer luck. Friend of a friend at lachute performance.

I know for a fact that these kits do not exsist but let me tell you they are ****ing awesome. They dont compete with 500 hp sti and so on but let me tell you they are neck breakers right from the start. I would encourage a turbo use over sc any day because of the strenght in power but if your a cruiser and enjoy a nice whistle no and again, an sc is the way to go.

Like i said though there are none in production and if you would really want one, try calling companies such as vortech and scrap yards and give them your dimension of under your hood and the space that you have and they will sell u just the blower and you will have to manufacter the whole kit from scratch. That is the best advice i can give u. As for pics my car is presently at a garage getting a new SDS computer (engine management) and when i receive it i will post some pics.

Overall im hoping to run about 13 flat and hopefully still have a transmission to take me home after

Turbo's can make peak horsepower, but i'm going supercharger to get power everywhere. If i can get my hands on a Kenne Bell Autorotor unit i'll make my own kit. I've never driven a turbocharged car, but the Supercharged ones i've driven i loved every minute of it.
