Default 1993 4 door legacy sedan FWD how many timing belts?

1 or 2? My step dad has one and wants to know how many timing belts it has. I instinctively said one but he mentioned one of his co-workers saying it may have 2? I dont have time to go pull the timing cover off and look so I was just wondering if anyone on here knew.
Thanks in advance!

It has one. You could have looked up the part on line and found out sooner.

Is it an EJ18 engine? I haven't seen an EJ18 with two timing belts.

maybe it was the timing belt and serpentine belt and somewhere along the way communication got mixed up.

As far as the engine, the legacy motor in question is a ej22 and its only got one. He was misinformed by a friend that was mistakenly thinking it was an 80s suby.
