Question header damage

since most of the aftermarket headers dont have coating or wrapping what will the heat from these headers damage over time in that area?
have anyone had damage yet? like to gaskets or plastic hoses?
i have only heard of damages to the plastic under engine shield so far. anything else?

depending on the locations of the header pipe.
it will melt through the undertray (plastic).

it would not hurt to at least wrap where the
oil filter comes close to the header.

This is very true. I had to cut a small area away from the plastic tray because the header burned that area....
