no, u have to lengthen it by like 4 in or so and the hangers r in diff spots. I'm sure I'll get plenty flamed if I'm wrong....

The downfall- it's a STOCK exhaust!

It's a direct fit once you modify the midpipe, a la me.

Trust me. It's a stock muffler. It'll be quiet.

I dunno...mine sounds REALLY nice on idle and at low (<2000rpm) revs. But above this it gets a little farty. Don't know if I realy like it yet.

Yea, I could see that. I can't really hear it over my intake anyhow. But it's not really loud, IMO.

I went from an Apexi N1 to this, and the Apexi was LOUD.

This is an audio clip recorded by a mipo MP3 player on the ground about 1 foot from the exhaust tip.

is there much of a HP gain by doing this (stock rs exaust vs wrx exaust on a rs).

a "stock" exaust draws a lot less attention than a "fart cannon".

Uhm, yes, if you do it properly, including using the WRX (2.25) Midpipe to be matched to the stock 1.75 flange then it will work properly, when I did this, I could feel more torque in lower revs and a little more power up top, going from an N1 muffler to this there is definately more to be gained.. Then I tried a STi axleback which was even better than the WRX, more tone, a little more power/Tq on the butt dyno

Oh, and I LOVED the quietness for the longest time, until I got sick of it and got me a Flowmaster WRX axleback and it fit perfect, sounds good too, and gives more torque in mid-range section as well as top end..
