Default 2005 RS wanted in Salt Lake City for Cobb Tuning!!!!

pasted from this thread:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...3#post11036863

I just exchanged emails with Trey Cobb of Cobb Tuning. They are looking for someone local to Salt Lake City, UT that is interested in having an AccessPort put on their 2005 RS or 2006 2.5i. They want to use someone's '05 RS for the R&D. The participating car owner will be given a substantial discount on the AccessPort and tuning.

It will likely involving bringing the car to the shop to acquire the ECU data first, then returning to do the dyno tuning. The result will be ProTuner support for the '05 RS and perhaps the AccessPort with staged mapping.

Please post here if you are interested and contact Trey at at www.cobbtuning.com.

If I was located in UT, I would certainly volunteer my car. This could potentially be one of the most cost effective power mods for an RS.

SO, Cobb has been saying for a while they just need a car. Now that they've got one, they don't want it? What's the deal?

One of our employee's drives a new RS. So we no longer need to borrow one. I will update the website when I go back to the office next week.

Thanks again!! Happy Holidays!!
