Default PEOPLE WHO KNOW OLDER 2.5rs's

do stock headers allow for the boxer rumble or do I have to find a set of unequal length headers?

The best complement I ever gave my RS sound-wise was Borla headers. The stock header yields a nice deep sound, but the Borlas change the length so you get to hear all the fun little exhaust pulses as you drive much more distinctly, without the whine often associated with equal lengths.

ok, my bad for over complicating this. I'm all good. I guess the other guy's saying his borlas are even more unequal length than stock... whatever,

bottom line is, I rumble

thanks again 2nr

Sorry, didn't mean to complicate. As was said, neither the Borla or the stockers are equal length. However, they are different lengths from each other. The stock headers are designed to cancel sound via the length difference, and the Borlas do not
