Is there anyone here that knows how to install hood pins?
i called my local ricer tuner shop, they wanted $80 to install my hood pins, eff that, is there anyone on here that has some free time that wants to do it for me for cheaper? say around $20-$30? i figure it shouldnt be that hard once youve done it before.

yea i got a carbon fiber hood, and i keep on hearing horror stories of hoods flying off at 60+ mph, that aint cool, haha.
and no, i dont have a dremmel. i bought the hood locks already, i just need them installed  |

I wouldn't touch the job for under $200.
I wouldn't trust anyone else to install them for less. How much did your carbon hood cost? Will the installer pay for that if they screw it up during the install? How do you get access to the pin backing plates? Did the pins come with backing plates? |

make sure you do it in the right spot and not on the outer portion of the hood. go through where the bump stops are
