69.99 * 1.25 = 87.488 (~89.96). Works for me.

You save a percentage from a retail price or a competitors price.

Difference/Competitor price.

Take the first one for example...
159.95 is competitor price. 89.96 is what you save. 89.96/159.95= 0.56 or a 56% savings...

What they did is divided the what you save by THEIR price, and came up with their silly numbers...

Why OT not arithmetic?

i had no idea what the sign was claiming I thought he was implying that "125%" meant they would give you 25% of the total cost back in cash... and that he was misled. turns out i am just slow.
