Impreza WRX STi APS short ram mounting problem

Does anyone here have a APS short Ram?? I just installed mine today and everything went fine until i went to mount it. The bracket i got was not going to work with me screwing into my plastic upper radiator fluid resevoir. Does this intake just kinda lay there??? Someone please give me some help.

This is the non turbo forum. You want the 2.5 Factory Turbo forum.

And that intake was designed for the metal header tank. Is there even a bolt there to use or no? You could get rid of the accordian part, get a 2 inch long silicone coupler and connect the intake right up to that and it'll be stiff and point straight toward the fender over the ABS pump. I don't know if your MAF wiring will stretch that far, but worth a try.
