I think they include all SCCA members that attend a race here. STS only has about 9 or 10 regulars, but only the top 4 or 5 consistently do well. So since Matt coned himself into 3rd place and put you into 2nd, it makes sense that you would be ranked somewhat high. The only guy that doesn't always finish in the top 5 that has done better is Eric (AccidenT).

Damn I wish I was still there.........
3 people in SM at the last Newgate race. I know I could have gotten 2nd there, definitely would be less than 5 seconds behind FSA.

I'm just wondering why i'm not even on the rankings even though i'm usually at least 5th or 6th. There's like 14 people listed, many of whom I've always gotten better times than.

If you just recently became a member it won't show up for a while since the points haven't been updated for like 7 or 8 races.

You guys rock! I was looking through the results of the utah autocross races, and I see that a lot of impreza race, and you all do really well. Especialy on this race http://utahscca.org/results/2001/010603.html 7 Imprezas raced, and all placed in the top 8 out of 22 total cars in the class. I'll be moving out to Utah within the year, so I'll have to show up to race with you next season. I'll probably get my butt kicked, but it'd still be fun.

Don't forget SM phread...
turbo and I were 6th & 7th out of 11 that day, not bad for under powered, heavy cars (turbo's in a wagon )

Thanks Phread, that was actually one of our bad events. Yes we had a lot of Subarus finish high, but in overall (PAX) Noah got 4th and I got 5th. That's probably the worst STS has done (in PAX) other than at the Pro Solo. At least all the recent races, STS usually gets 3 or 4 of the top 5 PAX times. I wish they would update our standings. The points haven't been updated since June.

That's the only good thing about ER down here , they up date their site quickly, but I would trade that for an organized race.

Utah is super-competitive in the STS, at least it was for a while. Noah, Calvin and Alan contributed to the STS fold nicely, but they're all

It's good to see Billy Nichols bring some good, realistic Acura competition and talent to STS. I also love to see the ID guys come down and mix it up. I love to see over a half dozen RSes going through the course.

SM is evolving, that's for sure. While i'm never going to be competitive in an 3300lb wagon, i'm not going to come in last! Stimpy should have his RS-T together for next season, and i can see at least one more WRX coming forward in SM, besides Arsalan, though this is just blind speculation.

While i'm having fun and learning, i'll be there as much as i can.

Middle of next season you should start seeing me show up every once in a while... or as often as my college budget alows. Right now I race in the San Francisco region in STR, but I noticed that you almost never have anyone racing in STR. I guess all have to leave the race tires at home, and join you in STS.
