Yea, the wife and I saw that -- Thanks!

I wanted to get the car looser, so I changed the alignment, so it made it quite slideable as long as I was braking early for the turns. All I gotta get rid of is the 'bottoming out' that happened in the slaloms right after that picture that was taken.

Great event. I will definitely have to come up to the DC region some time for a divisional for fun . Great job guys!

Oh oh... I was not 'off' in the Challenge. I did spin it, but I DID go through the gate... and that would move me up from DFL to NEXT to DFL

I've started to post the pics but its a long process when you take almost 1k photos. As I process them they can be found at:
www.awdcars.com

Direct link: http://awdcars.com/modules/myalbum/viewcat.php?cid=12

Once I get them all up feel free to request the full res version of your picture via PM, but please let me get them all up first (which might not be until tomorrow evening)

My 4th run (3rd that counted), 44.7, cuts off halfway through

I need to re-capture my first challenge run, 44.8, at a lower quality or something.

Fun times, I took 166 ish pics. A bunch are from the hotel but I will have them all up on my buddy's website soon and I will post a link.

PS - I hate the beltway and strongly dislike the two people (including a cop) who gave me bad directions and got me and my buddy lost for about an hour.

Overall a good weekend! woot!

Keefe - Ken and I really appreciate you letting us drive the Legacy. We had a blast! Thanks!

I should have asked Ken to run in ESP, I think he could have trophied. Btw, Myles has your 2nd place trophy.

Not a problem, glad everyone that enjoyed driving my car.

Once again, great event great people & at least this year great weather . It would be great if there was the same event in the beginning of the season and the end of the season. I dont get a chance to meet with other subi owners and this event seems to bring out nice people.

This was a great event. Mos def the most well run auto-x I have ever been apart of. Big thanks to the people who ran the event. Already looking forward to next years event.
As far as my performance......total crap!! I finally got the course down and on my final run, my foot slipped off the brake on the last 180 right hander resulting in me blowin threw 2 or 3 cones. Oh well I finished 8th in STU. Had a crazy fun and meet some cool peeps.

Yes it would ne nice to know these class names....

I took first class in taking the longest to put up a cleap tent ....

I really want to thank all the customers who came out to show support this year. Brian George and wife from Delaware, Jay Flath from Rhode Island( yeah) and his dedicated photographer DAVE, Kelly from Northern PA, Xenok from Rockville, Craig Cronin ( RONIN) and Ahmad from Conn.Racecomp REALLY appreciates the support.

It was also great to finally meet alot of people and put faces to names etc.

Myles
Myles, the tent wasnt that bad to put up!! Now we know how the thing goes together so we should be able to put it up in half the time next year. But naw it was great meeting you and I wanna thank you again for everything. Next time Cronin and me will stay the night so we can hit up the titty bar for sure !!! Big shout to the whole Racecomp crew.

P.S. Myles.....its Iman not Ahmad

Just missed you by 0.06 seconds in a car I've never driven before. Actually I've never ever competed in any Subaru except Ben Roth's EP SVX - but I was just testing his car

I learned a few things.

1. It is nice to improve in class position from the previous year.

2. Driving a car with untested tuning, suspension, wheels, tires, and brakes can be fun.

3. 225/45-17 Hankook Ventus HRII 405s on 17x8.5 wheels scream like a rape whistle.

4. I need different tires than the Ventus HIIs.

5. Hill needs more practice than I do.

I had a blast all. Thanks again Mr. B for the wonderful pix this year!

Friday night and Saturday was a blast. I enjoyed working the Super Star Challenge just to see the MSPT STi fly around the course.

I finished with a 46.8, which was good enough for 7th in STX. I didn't trophy but considering my only mods are bbs's and re070's, I'm still pleased. Looking forward to next year after my winter projects are done.
