Default Hydra auxiliary map switch setup

My Hydra is off to Phil today to get modded and flashed for AVCS, then I'll be ready to start tuning or rather asking a lot of questions. First batch:

Does anyone know how to set launch control/flat shifting up? I assume I could use the same clutch switch connectors as I had with the UTEC, but I am an idiot at wiring and I need a drawing a kid could read.

I would also like to wire a switch to toggle back and forth from pump gas to a race gas fuel and timing map. I would buy something like this if it was available.

Have you guys seen the wideband display for the Hydra? It was only like $50 US, but I could only find it on an Australian site.

That's all for now, THanks.

The harness that Phil provides hooks into the same clutch switch as the Utec one. If Phil is uploading a new map to the Hydra it will likely have everything setup for the launch control (and flat shifting) already. Just a couple of RPM settings you can play with. Haven't seen the wideband display.

We do have a Element Hydra EMS Accessory Wiring Harness that allows you to run water injection, Anti-lag (launch type), Launch control, flat-foot shifting, and the ability to use a switch to enable the standard maps and the AUX Maps (this will be automatic with the integrated water injection system). This retails for $59 but we're almost sold out again.

If you have no need for Anti-lag you can actually use the Anti-lag maps as an optional map also.

There currently is no WB display available in the US but a Hydra specific display is in the works. This will allow you to view any two of your data logged items such as AFR and RPM, Boost and IDC, etc. I don't think this will be available until around SEMA which is November.

Thanks,
Phil

Phil, short of the website, is there some channel I am unaware of where I can find out about these sorts of things before someone happens to ask a related question?

The truth of the matter is that I haven't been marketing these items just yet. I've just been selling them to those in the "know" for now until we can fully stock them as I don't like to market products that I don't have in inventory.

The fully integrated water injection system is still being tested and originally the Accessory Harness was born out of this.

The display is still a couple months away but will hopefully be released for SEMA.

When we're ready for a full release it will be in the "News" or "Homepage" of www.elementtuning.com but for now Nasioc is best place to hear about upcoming products.

Thanks,
Phil

If you have the auxillary map switch on and have autotune on will the autotune start modifying the Auxillary fuel map to match the AFR table?

Great question. I wondered this a few months ago myself and forgot to ask.

No it will modify the main fuel map, not AUX map. Make sure to Autotune the main fuel map first and then adjusting the AUX fuel map is quick and simple to do manually.

Thanks,
Phil

talk about bringing a thread back from the dead lol. Well as long as where here I'd like to know how to hook up the anti lag and stuff. So far I herd the Aux Map needs to be grounded witch I guess I can do with a switch I'm lost with wiring like this. unless I have a Diagram to go from. For 1500 dollars you'd figure we would get this with the system.

My plains are to run the Anti Lag on the Race fuel map only. and To run the LC and FF shifting on both pump/meth and race gas maps. Can someone help me out on this if so please PM me I'd like to have this set up by the next month or so ready to have tuned.
