There's a few bars/clubs (VooDoo, Bamboo Room, Alumni Club) you could go to. Also GameWorks in The Streets of Woodfield that is supposed to be fun.

Melting Pot (fondue restaraunt) is a fun (altho pricey) experience, but make reservations if you're going to go Fri nite or Sat nite.

You could always hop on the train into the city if you want to also.

There's an *adult video* place off Devon, near a Krispy Kreme.

I dunno... I've been hanging out in Scaumburg/Elk Grove/Surrounding for 5 years and that's all I can think of... I'm sure I'm missing something.

A friend of mine was telling me that they close off entire streets for street racing and even put down a traction enhancer. I guess they're pretty serious down there...

Either im getting old or the N.W.Subs street scene is just getting lame,I ride/drive to diffrent cities to get out off here, thats just me.If you must stay in that area, I recommend going downtown. Its only about 20 more min down the interstate and has a killer bar scene, and other fun stuff to do.As for stripps,if your looking for ricers to race. Rosselle Rd. used to be fun,and um...lol ya lame..."IMO"....so i will be watchin this thread to see if there's some crap im missing!

say what?

i'd reccomend going downtown to Michigan Ave, Millenium Park, Navy Pier etc.

The closest drag strip is either Route 66 or Great Lakes Dragaway and both are about an hour and a half from schaumburg.

Haha.. you need to buy the scandalousracing.com video. Thats what your referring to. The crew ushually meet behind Hooters somewhere, but are very hush hush. They have a vid of their mustang or camero.. im not sure what one.. anyways, they give a STI about a 4-5 car head start and blow it out of the water.. haha You sucker thought you STI was fast,

The Melting Pot is absolutely horrible unless you like to eat plenty of raw/overcooked food, that you cook yourself, and get charged WAY too much for.

P&L Motorsports is about 20 minutes away from Schaumburg.

If you just drive around Schaumburg, guaranteed you'll get a few "challenges" from random ricers. Don't know if the local "spot" is still meeting this time of year, been a while since I checked... there used to be good sized crowds in the Stratford Square Mall northwest outlots on weekend nights (about 20 minutes from Woodfield).

Other then all that, I suggest driving around downtown Chicago for sights. There is a lot there, and you could never fit it all in in a weekend.

I've lived less than 5 miles away from there my entire life and have never eaten there. I hear their torture chamber exhibit room is pretty cool, though.

She's talking about Ikea, BTW. I wouldn't know anything about the adult video store.

There's also Dave and Busters in Addison which is like 10 mins from Woodfield. Its like a gameworks but not as cool, lol.

For a bar in the area I know Durty Nellies in Palestine was cool, but Ive only been to their new location once and it wasnt the "same"

Speaking of Durty Nellies, they've got a hell of a double-header of bands going on this Friday night... Seventh Heaven is opening and the Hairbanger's Ball is closing down the place. Seventh Heaven = modern hard rock stuff... Hairbanger's = 80's hair band rock.

And their new location is MUCH better then their old location... that place was like 40 square feet and 8 foot ceilings (for better smoke distribution, apparently).
