Default Headlights have gone out.

Has anyone had just their lowbeams go out on a 2000 impreza 2.5RS. The high beams work fine. Could this be an electrical problem? Could this be fuse or just the bulbs going.

They are dual-filament bulbs, it's quite possible for the low beam filaments in both bulbs to burn out while the high beams are still ok, the low beams go first since they are used all the time. The system uses a common positive for both low and high beams, so if your high beams still work it isn't a power problem. The two possibilities are bulbs (most likely) or a problem with the low beam switched ground circuit.
