Default My first 1/8 mile times... Cobb Stage 2

So we don't really have a 1/4 mile around here, so I decided to take my 03 to the 1/8 mile last night. Here are the results:

First Run:
1.921 60'
8.695 1/8 mile
79.89 mph

Second Run:
1.811 60'
8.426 1/8 mile
81.32 mph

Third Run:
1.853 60'
8.405 1/8 mile
81.93 mph

This was my first time to the track, so overall I'm very happy.

My mods are:
Cobb Stage 2
Borla exhaust
Perrin DP
Koyo Radiator
Perrin Intercooler Hoses

VERY nice times on the 8.4's... should be right at breaking 12's on a good run!

Thanks all

I'm confident I could have gotten into the 8.3s but my clutch was slipping. 46k on a stock clutch I couldn't expect much more though. Oh well, I'm happy with it.

Now that I have "base times" I plan on upgrading to a bigger turbo to see what I can do.

Yeah that was Ben. He couldn't break in the 8's...I think his best time was a 9.0 at 77 (if I remember right, he wasn't racing me so I don't have that slip). I have 3 time slips with his car on them with mine, but best from those is 9.1 @ 7.6. Also I think those were 2.2 60's, so once he gets the launch down he should be doing well.

I want to take it to the 1/4 before I order any more parts to see if I could break into the 12's. If I did that...I dunno if I'd even bother upgrading more LOL

I'll let you know how it goes. I think there has been someone to break into the 12's before with my same mods though

I think a really good driver is going to be consistently in the 13.1-13.2 range ... Breaking into the 12's on a basic Stage2 set-up can probably be done, but there will likely only be a few people that can pull it off ...
