Al, if you want to dump the pounds quick style... cut out carbs. it really does work. It's really hard to do, the next best thing would be no carbs after lunch and eat carbs in moderations. Ok, enough of that this is a car board not jenny craig!

Default speaking of weight

I hear you on trying to lose some weight for racing. When I was trying to get my gsx-r750 into the 10's with my huge ass( 6'3, 240, with full leathers, boots, back protector and helmet closing in on 280!) I have dropped weight just due to the fact of how hot it's been. Finally got there with a 10.9, mission accomplished. Of course when my ethiopian test rider/ringer friend hopped on, low to mid 10's on his first runs, never been on the bike before. Oh well, you gotta do what got's to do......oh yeah, I'm a pig and love beer and donuts.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....Homer J

If you really look, my bike looks more like a mini-moto with my monkey ass on it

Nice job tex !!!

The problem is that these machines just dont deal well with us big 6'3" guys - - it was fun playing football but now when it comes to drag racing i wish I was a bit smaller

I was lining up a ringer also - - but thank god I did it without one

You know - Imprezer had a rigner drive his car in the shootout!

OK - - - I'm kind of hoping all this boasting will result in someone - anyone - issuing a challange to me so we can meet at the track and have some real actual races ???????????????

Anyone want to take on the new Whoopass ??? - No money no street races - will meet ya at the track

The buick club used to have an annual meet that only allowed buicks to run (I think they still do). They had all kinds of categories and I bet this would be great for the subs as well. Maybe once we have a bigger following it could be done. That would be really nice. Have all the vendors there and everything.

Man.

I got reamed to no end for removing the exact same stuff as alfriedesq and running a 15.0 with just an intake and exhaust on my MY01 RS. I still get flack from that. Sucks to be me.
