Default Apexi TT doesnt keep car running when I cut off

So I just installed the Apexi turbo time that I bought used off here. After spending way more time on this than it should have taken...Im asking for any help or insight.

Connected with harness under steering wheel
Connected grey wire to pink ebrake wire
Connected black wire to b19 on ecu (ground)
Connected left over wire to b17 on ecu (o2)

Cut the grey wire on the center security modular
Cut the green/black wire on the dash security modular

When i am driving the car around I get readings from the batt, 02, and a/f (even tho the a/f stays --- for the most part then for like 15 secs will come back on??

I cut the car off and it doesnt turbo time....anything I should do...ive went thru all my wires 2x

another thing i noticed was that when I do cut the car off, the apexi TT doesnt even stay on actually counting down or anything. I know my old Greddy Turbo Timer in my eclipse would stay on.

Going thru the key settings off-access-on-ignition
this apexi only comes on when im in teh on position, shouldnt it be getting power in the accessory portion too
