Default DualDisc compatability problems?

I recently purchased the new God Forbid CD called "IV: Constitution Of Treason" (Century Media Records) which is in the Dualdisc format (DVD one side, CD on the other). This format is gaining huge momentum and is a pretty cool idea. However, I have a 2002 LL Bean Outback with the factory premium sound system and the damn thing doesn't seem to want to read the audio side of the disc. The disc reads fine on my PC and other CD players. Does anyone else have this same problem or know of any "official" compatability specs from Subaru on the subject? Its a great album and unfortunetely I'm reduced to either wasting a CD-R to get around the problem or making it sound like crap via an Ipod with one of those crappy FM Transmitters.
