I dont think anyone has come out with one yet. The 06s are way to new to get anything worth while.

NO it won't help. Injens intakes are calibrated to the mass air flow. The 06 is an entire different set set up than the 05.

judgin just by look at a pic of the new 06 motor it looks like it has the 05 INtake manifold and MAF setup SO I am pretty damn sure the 05 INJEN will fit the 06 motor but performance wise i don't really know what it would do but im guessin it'll make significant gains as well.

Kaplan thanks a lot. I believe in 05 they went to MAF pver MAP. I was unaware of how the 05 engine looked. I assume they are the same. I currently have an e-mail into injen. I woudl assume the gains would be better on the 06 than the 05 due to the variable valve timing. The 06 was mad eto have torque thorughout the wide range of revs. Once i confirm i will get one and let you guys know how it is on the 06. I believe any intake will do wonders for our NA scoobys as the stock airbox IMO is restrictive. I want straight thorugh air.

but in the meantime if anyone knows for sure they can chime in.

Thanks in advance

^^ seriously anything is better than the restrictive stock one. I think it should yeild gains the same if not less but the 05CAI was designed on my car and my car doesn't have I-active valve lift system. So I'm a lil skeptical on what gains it'll put out but definately intrested. GOOD LUCK

i assume you have one on your car? Can you tell the difference on the butt dyno low end, mid, low end torque? is it deep and loud at WOT? i am looking for a little gain in acceleration, better fuel economy, and the throaty sound. thanks in advance. But you are right soo damn restrictive. i don;t want to just take teh snorkel off either.

You can like barely feel the extra horspower kick in at around 4600rpms and you can feel it pull you to redline quicker than stock. Stock felt like it would lag, and as for torque I was able to feel a little bit more of a beefy low end. As for sound if you use it as a CAI at WOT it sounds like a beast and at redline it is just rediculously loud. If you use it as a short ram it is just rediculously loud all around.

I cant say for sure,as i havent done it. I do have an 05 and the engine's air filter is the exact same as that one"probbly the same part#" anywayz Id bet a good chunk of money that it not only will fit but give better gains then on an 05. There isnt a whole lot of science to a CAI,but ill buy an 05 CAI and repackage it TO SAY 06 and charge ya 50 more bucks if you want ....thats all cobb, injen, etc. will do...BUT WE'LL SEE !!

Just so you guys know its works with some modifications. I wasn;t about to spend 230 on an intake and not use it. I like it. Doesn't make the car super quick but it pulls harder and faster.

If you look at the picture you will see a tube with a white connector on the front of the airbox connecting to the throttle body. The 05 injen intake has only connectors for the 2 side tubes. I went to home depot bought a 1/2" t-connector for 1.78 and 2 feet of tube from autozone for 1.19 a foot. I had hose connectors so now all 3 tubes are connected. I taped teh third tube because it has a sensor attached and i didn;t want it to come loose. So far so good and not throwing any CEL's. I love the intake so far. Sounds mean and pulls great up top.

Ok a few things...

#1 i contacted Injen a month ago almost. They have the longest turn around for Q&A.
#2 Its already on my car i had to mod it
#3 look at the pic of teh 05 and a pic of the engine bay up top. At the front fo teh air diffuser box there is another tube. the intakes are different. i assume that the extra tube and sensor is for the variable valve timing.

the intake rocks though.
