Default EJ257 hybrid oil pump question

tried searching for this. if i'm doing an EJ257 shortblock swap with stock WRX heads, do i need to get an STI oil pump or does the stock WRX oil pump suffice. I'm kinda short on cash now so i need to reuse everything i can so if it will be enough, then i'm happy. at a later time i'll replace it with an STI pump when i get the V8 heads so it can better supply for a higher redline. Please tell me i can re-use the stocker!

Even though I was told that the parts are different, I can not see any difference between them. I've evened opened both up including the valve section. I got a 2.5L pump though just in case I was wrong
