I'll be in the garage for sure, won't be of much help to anyone other than advice though.

blackdout we'll have to do them on sunday like I thought, unfortunately I'll still be busy on saturday. Don't worry, we'll make it in time

trdvibe you should get 12-15ft 10ga and a 30amp inline fuse, cheapest at carquest on minnesota. then we'll run a sepperate lead from the battery, cause one thing subaru doesn't do is over-engineer their electrical systems get some conduit if you want it pretty. I'll just show/guide you through it. and provide the soldering iron.

well the kit has everything in it, all the fuse and wiring. all i need is to find the power i believe. should be pretty simple i think. however, i want to have it so it's powered all the time, even with the engine off and install a lighted switch to turn it on or off. there is a reason for this because i plan to make my car a mobile wireless hotspot. that way, i can just pull over, take out a little table from the trunk, and set up shop for an onsite mobile demo (work).

what i mean is you need to run it straight to the battery. the factory system is not large enough to support additional loads. that way you'll have power all the time anyway

yeah it will be similar to turbokills vacuum line install, through the inner fender and side of the dash. that seems to be the easy way to get underhood on a 05 legacy.

Hope did you pick up the inline fuse yet, also see about getting a piece like 3 foot long or so of black 10 guage, to make a nice ground for it

Could I also get in on the LED windshield wiper nozzle install? I think having the two led's in the front would help me drive drunk through school zones in reverse.
